The Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan is a Christian allegory that follows the journey of a man named Christian, who leaves his home in the City of Destruction to seek salvation in the Celestial City. Along the way, he faces trials, temptations, and encounters with characters like Evangelist and Apollyon, ultimately finding redemption through faith and perseverance. The narrative, rich with symbolic locations and figures, vividly illustrates the spiritual struggles and triumphs of a believer’s path to salvation.
